The Avenue Gallery Artist Feature - Ron Parker

One of the most talked about subjects in The Avenue Gallery as of late is the distinct change in style and medium in the work of local Victoria artist, Ron Parker. Parker began painting later in life, after finding inspiration from the work of renowned bird artist James Fenwick Lansdowne. Ron used acrylics as his medium of choice to create smoothly serene landscapes.

Recently however, the artist began to experiment with oils, and based on the hugely popular outcome, it's unlikely he'll ever go back. This alternate medium has allowed him the ability to create fine details for an undeniable photorealistic result.

Below you'll see two works from previous years, and two more from his most recent collection.
